Dear Young Neuroscientists,
We are delighted to invite you to the 1st Annual Scientific Meeting of the Italian Young Neuroscientists, BraYn (Brainstorming Research Assembly for Young Neuroscientists), which will be held in Genoa, Italy, during the 29th and 30th of June 2018. Inspired and organized by researchers under the age of 40 from different backgrounds and with different scientific approaches, our meeting aims establish connections between the future protagonists of neuroscience.
Every day, young Neuroscientists face the difficulties of carrying out their research at several levels; our conference is intended to be a useful meeting point to maximise our scientific investigation to its full potential. The philosophy of the conference is simple: to meet, connect, collaborate and share. Indeed we need to encourage cooperation among different research groups in order to broaden our horizons, and to contribute to the improvement in quality of research.
We anticipate the attendance of over 200 delegates, which will also include experienced senior leaders who will attend as mentors and discussants. We will have scientists from different disciplines of neurobiology including neuroimmunology, neuronal plasticity, neurodegeneration, nanomaterials and neuro-oncology who will show the most recent advances in these fields.
The venue of the Congress, the San Martino Convention Centre, is located adjacent to Genoa’s academic hospital, which is the usual venue for scientific events. Also, we warmly invite you to explore the benefits of participating as a sponsor and/or exhibitor. On behalf of the organizing committee, we look forward to seeing all of you very soon. Mark your calendar and join us in Genoa, because BraYn conference is waiting for you.
